Clear Perspex® acrylic sheets are 10x stronger than glass, yet up to half of the weight! They are also UV and weather resistant which makes them the ideal material to use both indoors and outdoors.
Greenhouse glass replacement.
Perspex (acrylic) is often considered better than glass for greenhouses because it is roughly 10 times stronger, safer (shatter-resistant), and 50% lighter, making it easier to install and more durable against impact. It offers 92% light transmission for superior plant growth and provides natural UV protection.
Shed Windows
Perspex (acrylic) shed windows are superior to glass due to their high impact resistance (10–20 times stronger), safety (shatterproof), and lightweight nature. They are ideal for sheds because they are weather-resistant, easy to cut/install, and offer excellent, long-lasting clarity.
Fish pond Jump Guards
Perspex (acrylic) is preferred for fish pond jump guards because it is safer, lighter, and easier to handle than glass, preventing hazardous, invisible shards from falling into the pond if broken. It offers high light transmission, is easy to cut and customize to shape, and provides excellent durability against the elements.
Commercial PVC Wall Panels
Commercial PVC wall panels are generally preferred in commercial settings due to being more cost-effective, lighter, and easier to install via tongue-and-groove systems or with jointing strips providing a neat finish. They are 100% waterproof, require minimal maintenance, and provide better insulation. PVC is also more durable against everyday dents in high-traffic environments.
